It seems most of the permastucks in this have been ironed out, I'll give this hack a shot today. :^_^:

Um, I need help. I got got the Rachetas and now I don't know where to go. Also, I think I got perma stuck because I saved with no Rachetas left. When I got rid of the save file to start anew, I was started in a room quite a bit away from the ship. Can these things be fixed?

[spoiler]The out of rachetas query isn't a problem, there is a triple door scroll on which you must find your way going left on the 'top door', there is only one direction to go here...In a couple rooms after these triple doors scroll is a room with blue tiles blocking your way...Wait about ten seconds and an enemy will open the way in 2 spots, at the end is a door and this door is a racheta door as the door colors are different in my hack...Look in the manual for door colors (on download post)...This enemy also respawns, so you can refill on rachetas here...
            As for the save file, did you delete it off the computer manually yourself, or did you do it via the start menu inside emulator with game loaded...You are suppose to delete it off the computer manually by finding it on your computer, might be same folder where your rom is, or maybe somewhere in your emulator folder or subfolders...It should have the file extension of 'srm' and might be the same filename as rom...Good luck...Get back to me if this is not the issue as this has never happened to me by deleting it manually off the computer...[/spoiler]

I am aware of the .srm files, I just reset the game in my emulator and deleted it on the file select screen. When I started a new sace file where the deleted one was, I started of at a save station in a room with two Novas, both of whih moved very quickly. I hope this helps  :^_^:

I have spent all day roaming around bgarnowr sector 3 and also over in sector 2 to the left because after I got the gravity this is where I am supposed to be i believe. I am finding a lot of blocks that either are fuser or quantau which i do not have. Where do I need to be to go in the right direction. thank you. Exploration can tire a person out. :)

Using save/load patch?
I know in mine it made it so that if you started a second file you spawned at the place you last saved in the first file. I think it is something to do with that patch, maybe Scyzer can tell you

Mettyk25jigsaw, I fought my first Ridley. A lot more of the world has opened up because of that. You say there are 4 Ridley's in this game.  Ridley has always been a pain. The original team who made Super Metroid made his AI a real challenge. I am still enjoying your hack.

Is 2.1 the "final" version or is this still being updated?  After reading through this thread I'm having doubts about whether I want to play this one.

Donny, going by the slowed down need to polish it because of not so many requests for polishing during the last week or two, there may or may not be only one or two more versions...I have got one improvement for 2.2, but it is a miniscule improvement and can wait until there is more to do, and if by any chance there are no more requests in the next week or 2, I will be probably doing the big task of making certain doors in the game close behind you when loading a room, as the way I have these certain doors at the moment, the doors can't be set to do so...That will take a while though but will make our very good friend JAM happy...After doing this, it's possible this will be the last version...
      As for having doubts on wanting to play the game, if it's because of all the things that need fixing, I need to tell you that I only really had the one faithful beta tester as many of them wrote back saying they didn't have enough time to play it and test it and since beta testing requires a lot of 'trying intentionally to find bugs and permastucks and what not' and it's such a long hack, I can probably understand that...
     Anyway, the only way to satisfy your doubts, is just to give it a try, I think the game is quite user friendly now anyway in my opinion, but better make up your own mind...

PS...To plush, congrats on getting the fuser, you have only 2 more items to get... :^_^:

I like Crocomiro battle so much. Wilderness was a touch call and it forced me to write my warp path in paper, but it's all good. Remind me maze from first Zelda and final level of Star Fox 64 before boss battle. And also, I like that defeating Phantoon causes that maze to disappear, like it was a mind game of Phantoon.

[spoiler]I am on the last item now, the cruiser. the secret room shows 3 areas for it. i have fought Ridley in Wadoria and now am at him in Mahagan. Each version of Ridley seems to have different weapons that affect him. The one in Mahagon seems beams have no effect. My question is what amount of Racheta. mega Racheta and hand grenades are required to beat him here. I have 93 rachetas, 45 mega rachetas and 13 grenades. Also do i need to do all 3 areas before I get the cruiser. Hope this makes sense. Thank you.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Yeah, that should be enough ammo, and you are doing the right thing other than maybe not using the plasma on him via the charge beam, later I will give him a try on those settings to double check it's all good but xaphan got past him no worries so it should be fine but he may have had more ammo idk, by the way, are you doing easy or normal, so that I know which version to test? And yes you need to do all 3 areas b4 cruiser and in order, else ridleys will not appear..I will look into it...[/spoiler]

[spoiler]I went around and found a few more items, so I had 97 rachetas, 48 mega rachetas, and 16 hand grenades. he went down. Now just 1 more Ridley to go.[/spoiler]

Plush, that's funny...I just uploaded a new version 2 seconds ago because I figured he was too hard and you just posted a message 3 minutes ago, on which I just now read saying you just fought him and beat him, you just beat me to the fix to it... :grin:...Anyway, I think he probably still was a little too hard, so version will still stand...Well done on beating him, I couldn't do it, although I only was playing on 699 units of energy + 180 units of reserve energy...The max you could have at your point would be 899 units though + reserves...If I kept up with it and had a little more ammo like you ended up finding, maybe I could have done it...

Released V2.2...Quick fix to Mahagan's Ridley DNA in normal version only, as he ended up to be far too hard, don't know what went wrong there, but I thought it was urgent to release this one...

Hi, I just started playing the hack and I'm lost like PKstarship - only thing is I can't seem to make sense of the spoiler.

[spoiler]I can find the triple room and take the top route but eventually get to a room with crumble blocks which I don't seem to be able to cross without falling through and dying on the spikes.  Am I supposed to be able to cross that there?[/spoiler]

To MartiHUN--for others don't open spoiler unless you want answer to his question:

[spoiler]You need to go to Samus' ship room and enter the top left hand door, when in this next room this is sector 1 of Arion Skirts as you can get to this room sometime before getting the swinger, that is why I noted it as sector 1 not 2 as the ship room is sector 2 but the next room left is sector 1 and in this next room is a grapple door, or at least was, depending on version you have, it may have either still be there or disappeared, but either way still accessable...Good luck...and thanks for playing my hack and feel free to come for anymore assistance if required... :^_^:[/spoiler]
