Don't open spoiler if you do NOT want the answer to MartiHUN's question:
MartiHUN, I make an apology, I should have elaborated more the first time, I forgot about the need to fight Crocomire and spore spawn and a couple things related to these mini bosses...
I'll give you a set of videos to make up for it...
https://youtu.be/Y1Ku7l_wVMM
This is how to get to the grapple door, note that The door won't open for me, however it will be able to open for you (I won't go into the long explanation why)

https://youtu.be/WAammW2sqa4
Here in video after grapple beam door, you'll find it ends with me shooting with sphay/wave beam 2 white doors, if these doors are still here for you, you will need to fight Crocomire and Spore spawn and it is better you do it in that order...If you need to do crocomire and spore spawn then follow next 2 videos, if not just continue on after video 2(above)...

https://youtu.be/043FlAahGrI
Remember when shooting bomb slots to stay stationary on them while bombing...You'll notice after doing first bomb slot after left of crocomire room a Mega racheta door will appear a couple rooms north east of crocomire room, follow video and you'll get to a second bomb slot, this will show up a Racheta door left of spore spawn's room even though in fourth video when I am showing it, a door doesn't show up for me, once again it will for you...

https://youtu.be/ANwqUYRgnws
After doing this one, both white doors will have disappeared in tourian/smachoghr... The third white door, you must find an enemy to kill in order for it to open, the remaining door is just a grapple door...good luck...
JAM

By the way, when I supposed to fight with Spore Spawn? I could do that long time ago, but every time I try, I got my ass kicked as result. Last item I found is Velocity Boots.

Mettyk25jigsaw

I can answer that JAM, I remember that when I was checking up something on your behalf, I noticed that the white doors in the first room of smachoghr/tourian were out of place in easy mode therefore making the doors openable when they weren't suppose to be until such time as you have done spore spawn and crocomire and done a couple of other required tasks to get the door open. I know this would have allowed you in early if you had not done crocomire and spore spawn because I remember you were a bit past that point at that time and was wondering if JAM noticed those 2 white door/s at a strange place if he hadn't done crocomire and s.spawn yet...However Jam, it might be worth still doing him as I can't remember off top of head wether there are any S.spawn required event for white doors in Messadon but I don't think there are, but one thing I do know is you get a Racheta by doing him in next room after...
Also, sorry for the misplacement of the doors and even though you can get to S>Spawn early in game which was intended you were ok to do him just B4 you go to smachoghr the first time...

martiHUN

Mettyk25jigsaw, now I get it.
I thought I was on the wrong place because those two doors were locked and that I'm maybe not supposed to be there yet. Also never occurred to me that I have to defeat Spore Spawn and Crocomire at this point. I tried going after Spore Spawn, but the door leading to him is locked and don't know how to open it. And I've never even met with Crocomire so far.
Mettyk25jigsaw
MartiHUN, if you want to unlock door to spore spawn, you must find a way to get to one of the bombslots in same room as locked door, you need the one that is blocked by the chiller/ice beam...so where all those bombslots are inside room with many white doors inside same room in messadon I am talking about...To get to crocomire you must find your way to the very east of chaud bay/norfair and half way down the map, there is a passageway you must open to get there here...Good luck...I would elaborate more and with images but it is really late here in Australia and need to get sleep, if this is not good enough explanation, then reply back and I will do better tomorrow or whenever you respond...
martiHUN
That's what I tried to do, but for some reason it doesn't open up like it did when I played on an older version.

And I managed to glitch this gate and explore a little but if I go further down I end up permit stuck.
If you are talking about this room/s it's not a perma, just bomb those enemy gate thingys and they will provide a platform where the w.jump tiles are and next room right, just bomb where that enemy gate is and you will fall down into a path or tunnel and further down and right from here is 2 ways out, via a door if you already have space jump and a morph ball tunnel if you don't...And what do you mean by you managed to glitch the gate and what gate? Maybe you mean door in picture idk...Thanks...
martiHUN
Uh, I meant the door. It was locked if I remember correctly but managed to open it up somehow.
JAM

I really hate you for this.

Try to beat it yourself without savestates. It wouln't be so hard in vanilla game, but you changed physics. This means pressing left while moving right causing instant direction and speed change. This challenge is OK, but with Save Station placed right before you forced to dive in lava in previous room.

Sorry for emotional feedback, but I died here 7 times in a row.

Now, constructive feedback. We have a problem in Base Zero.

Saving with small amount of energy may cause player dying during loading. Because of these (Atomic) enemies.

Another problem place:

There are Hachi that can kill you during loading.

Common solution: fill space inside Save Stations at Base Zero with enemy blocking blocks.

Stuck in ground when exiting room. Distance from door should be changed.

Same problem.

Conveyor belt isn't moving. Set certain bit in FX1. In general, there are A LOT of places in your hack when you didn't set the right bit. I mean, glowing in Brinstar, Wrecked Ship etc.

Slope problems. For every room where you can perform a Super Jump, every slope must me followed by 2 square slopes pushing you up (on the floor) or down (one the ceiling). Else, Super Jump will be interrupted as if you wreck into the wall.

Place where you get the Swinger. After obtaining it you can escape through ceiling. But then you'll fall here and invisible wall appears to the right blocking you path.

Too much X-Ray Fooling in your hack. Especially here. How do I suppose to get this item?

Well, I know how to get there, but fooling X-Ray when looking to Racheta and thinking how to get it isn't very nice. It making X-Ray almost useless.

Forgot square slope here.

Move offscreen issue. Some enemies in some rooms can moving offscreen, and some not. It's OK in general, but there are 2 Rippers in the room where you suppose to walk in lava a lot. One placed in picture can move offscreen, another is not, which isn't logical. So, reward after walking in lava a lot is simply wait here for a Ripper to freeze which isn't come for eternity. Can you fix it?

Ship is awake, but spikes aren't moving in this room.

Conveyour belt is too.

Same story.

No BG in this room.

In this room -- too.

JAM, Images 1 to 7 I will fix.
Image 8 is suppose to be like that...
Image 9 to 14...Was wanting it to be that way as the way I was designing the game and a certain reason almost impossible to explain made it easier to design the game in order to prevent having problems with people obtaining items in the wrong order when I wasn't intending them...Same reason why you can only bomb one bomb at a time and can't use ibj...
15....meant to be like that....
16...look in spoiler further down below...
17...there is no need in this one because anyone is going to fall down here anyway, it would be hard not to, but I'll do it anyway...
18 & 19...I will fix
20 to 22...I will fix
Last 2...meant to be like this, you may not agree but I think having a rare room here and there with no bg actually makes it look quite groovy...

For those who do not want to know how to get racheta item in Jam's 16th image, then don't open spoiler...
The spikes on roof to the left of samus in image are harmless, however do not go up and right when you find that you can go through one of these spikes, go up and left instead...
Released V2.3...Just some small improvements...This will probably be the final version....

Hello, I'm enjoying the hack so far but I'm at a complete loss. I have 7 Missiles, Morph, Bombs, Ice Beam, and Hi-Jump boots. The hint is telling me the next item is in Wadaria and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get there. I've searched everywhere I can reach/think of. It's saying the starting point is Sec 3 of Arion Skirts but every possible point of advancement is blocked by gates and doors I can't open.

Where in the hell is it and how do I get there?

Update: Finally found it, though I can see how I missed it so easily. You might want to check the height of the ledge leading to the path to Wadaria. It is very, very picky about how and where you jump from, I initially skipped over it because after a few Hi-Jumps I couldn't get up there. Though after trying several more times I made it.

Anyway, great hack so far.

PS: Love the music and look of Wadaria.

Aran;Jaeger

So Mettyk25jigsaw, since you said the current versions will most likely be the last versions of these hacks, I started looking into them, but they cannot be opened in SMILE. Thus, since I would like to get the maximal percentage that can be achieved humanly, inbounds and without tools in these hacks, I have a question/request, namely if there are any two individual items that have the same "low" index such that collecting one of those (depending on it having a capsule) and exiting the corresponding room causes the other item(s) with the same low index to vanish, aswell as if there are anywhere in any room state of any room any transition blocks (potentially seemingly out of reach) that have no intended purpose, aswell as any items with the same property of (potentially being placed in walls) that exist/are placed in some room? In the case of there being such (items and/or transition blocks), I would request that you look through the hacks (more precisely: the hard version) to take away every single item and transition block that is not intentionally in the hack(s).

Sidenote: It seems that the maximal falling speed is increased dramatically, so I´d like to mention that it most likely will be very easy to skip through transition blocks from above to enter the Out of Bounds area, in the case one can fall fast enough into a downwards leading door at the boundary of the editable room in SMILE, using a specific setup that involves pausing, since this is even possible with the smaller falling speed from the original Super Metroid (and also sideways possible using shinesparks).

Mettyk25jigsaw

Thanks valholy for your kind words about my hack, I'll improve on that High jump thing too...In about a month or 2 at the most, I'll show off parts of my second hack, I just need to do enough rooms to do so...Also, Feel free to ask for any more help...

To Aran;Jaeger:
About any shared item lows, I believe there aren't any, however there's a couple spots in game where there is a trick and you must shoot the item in scenery item (in the open) to show the item up that is on top of/above an item block, otherwise they are invisible...But they are only upgrades like missiles/rachetas, so you aren't missing something major if you don't figure it out...

Also to Aran..., if I understand the rest correctly, in easy and normal there are spots that are intended not to go through to explore because they are only accessable in hard mode at some point and are not needed for easy and normal and there are some differences between easy and normal too...I think the best way I can help you is for you to respond back saying you want me to send to you via a PM, a copy of my mdb text file, as that will make the rooms open in Smile as bank 8F is completely rearranged customly to my liking in my hack, big job it was...Also you would probably also want a couple patches to be sent to you, 1 to make 'all' rooms open, as some won't open in smile still and 2 more patches to return them back to what they are suppose to be like to play hack...I could have joined the last 2 patches together but I'm too lazy...Patches are already made months ago anyway...
valholy

I'm clearly missing something. I beat Kraid and found an HP Booster and now I'm seemingly locked in the area behind Kraid. I can't go backwards and I can't seem to find a way to advance.

What do I do?

Mettyk25jigsaw
Jump up where you got the hp bonus/booster and go from there(there's a hidden passage above the chozo statue)...Good luck...
I did all that and it leads me back to the room before Kraid with the save station and all exits are white except for Kraid's door. Is there a hidden route I'm missing?

Mettyk25jigsaw
Ok, next step is to go to chaud bay for a heat run, because you got the hp bonus now, the hp bonus door should be open...To get there, head through the east door of kraid room, then bomb down on the floor and head right and through the down door at end, the next room you must go left, but don't go down anywhere in this room, there is a door on the top left of room, go through here and it will lead to chaud bay...Good luck...
By the way, as I've finished writing this I've just woken up to something. Hopefully none of this applies to you though and you already have the 3 mega rachetas... It's related to something I did in previous version to the current one and I hope this hasn't effected you, but happens to be fixed in current version by chance...That is if you have collected 3 energy tanks you are fine and no need to worry, but if you only have 2 you are going to have to respond to this post for assistance, because of a recent change I've done I have accidentally neglected to take something in mind to making that recent change, though the issue happens by chance to be negated in Version2.3, but that would be unless (possibly) you downloaded Version 2.3 after leaving wadaria after receiving the first lot of mega rachetas/super missiles...If this has happened to you then I am very sorry, but it can be fixed no matter what room you are saved in, I will have to give you a temporary patch to give you that you apply on an original rom by the way and not my hack (that's the way I prefer to do it) and replace the rom you are using now momentarily, as I will have to get rid of the white door to the right of kraid's room, and you will be searching for another hp booster, The one you just got would have actually been a hp Bonus too by the way not a hp booster...If you don't want to know where the 3rd hp booster is then don't read on after next note, remember to replace rom to the one you have now once you have the hp booster or use version 2.3, don't read on from here if you don't want to find out where to get the hp booster------------otherwise do read on ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Go into the special clue room in Arion Skirts/crateria and transport your way to wadaria and head west until you come to near the very west of wadaria itself, it's a light blue room as you first came out of the really dark wadaria room the first time you were in wadaria...this light blue room has an enemy you shoot and then you hop on and takes you up, once up and over to the left, there are a couple of doors, take the lower one and it is a mega racheta door, you can't go wrong from there, once you have hp booster return to your previous rom or use version 2.3...good luck...
Well, I feel just a little bit stupid for forgetting about that HP Bonus Door. Thanks for the help. I now have the Crojei Armor (after dying a few times learning the route) and am now exploring Chaud Bay.

Note: Thankfully the issue you referenced did not apply to me as I had 3 HP Boosters + the HP Bonus. Sounds like I avoided a nightmare. For reference I started the hack (Easy version for a first play-through to get used to things) on version 2.2 and applied 2.3 when you released it, so luckily most of the known issues were before my time with the hack and thankfully I've avoided any other known/unknown issues.

Still thoroughly enjoying it so far.

Last item I got is Naellyn Armor. Next target is
Sector 1 of Bgarnowr from Sector 3 but I can't get there. I've travelled through the shortcut warp to Bgarnowr from the big hint room. Last room I found is turbo tunnel room. Fuser blocks are everywhere. How to enter Sector 3? Grey door is blocking the passage.

I also found a sector warp to the bottom left corner of the map, but I can't pass it too.
Mettyk25jigsaw

To Jam,
Is this the room? If so follow the green arrow...

Wow, that was fast.

Yes, I found this passage.

I better show pictures.
This is the only room of Sector 1 I can get into. To break these blocks I should have Spring Ball. Door to left in the top of this room is blocked.

If I go right I can get there:

And finally I can't pass here:

I suppose, I should go here:

but the door is locked.
Also. Found a bug:

I suggest to make scroll of this screen red until you touch Scroll PLM to avoid this effect.

Mettyk25jigsaw

To JAM,
The bug is only a temporary bug (goes away once you are offscreen) and have tried my best to fix it in the past but wherever I put the scroll PLM, it still does it, inc either side of the scroll (next to it)
Where to go? That first picture you uploaded, try moving half a scroll to the left and xraying the floor/ground...
Thank you! I was looking around with X-Ray but somehow missed this little block in the ground.

I need help again. Where do I go after getting Swinger? The hint room says to start in Arion Skirts Sector 1 but I can't seem to find anything related to Swinger there to progress. Though I did find a bomb slot thing labeled All Worlds/All Sectors, what's that do?

Also, in the huge bomb slots/white doors room in Messadon Sector 2 there are 2 Sphay blocks; one leads to a Sector Switch and the other leads to what I would expect to be a bomb slot for a white door in the room though it's just a dead end. Is that normal?
