Also a question. In the past I've submitted pictures for ROTW with enemies. Is this bad form? I've noticed nobody else has enemies in the images.

When dumping room images from smile you can't get one with enemies on it, if you could then I would have. :p

Well... Phazar, you can pick the appropriate image.



And those aren't really "slopes". Going down, you'll walk off the steps and fall onto a lower step. To get back up you have to jump.

Definitely snarf. He works better with what he has than the other two contestants; MST's room is a little too 'wat' and unbalanced for my tastes, and phazar does a good job of recreating the authentic M1 feel, but it's simple and lacking in originality.

MultiK1llZ for me.  I'd suggest changing the white edging to a pale blue, to better blend with the tiles, but the room looks good.

Snarfs room is full of sex, I admit it! But multi's room is just freaking awesome.

Also, at first I thought what quietus suggested too when I first saw the room, however, much of the charm and the looks do come from the bright white and by removing it you will lose it. A smoother gradation is not worth it if it looks worse. :p

I wasn't so much hinting toward adding it to the existing gradient, as I too like the bright edging.  I just feel it'd be better as a blue rather than the crisp white.

I seriously considered not posting my room this week after seeing Mulit's.

My only criticism would be to reduce the jaggies on the white outline. It would be a little work, but you could give it an anti-aliased look.

nono Quietus, I think you're the one misunderstanding me here.

By turning down the scale from white to a more cyan or blue color will remove a lot of the charm. =)

I think I did understand.  Perhaps I wasn't clear.  I just meant changing it to a very light blue instead of an actual blazing white.  I agree, the obvious outline is a large part of what makes the room great.  It's just the white itself that I was commenting on, as I reckon it'd work just as well with a slight hint of blue.

Multi: I love those tiles, and the room is well designed. The only problem this week is Snarf decided to submit a room...

Heh, Snarf is the only one I've ever seen who can make Nestroid look so awesome.
