Worst thing is, I can't even tell if there's an image in there because half of the time images don't load on my phone. If not, I'll check when I get home and fix the link.

I'm going to guess that I'm looking at the statue and the background?  In which case I'll say that I like the background more than the statue.  Otherwise, it's not very DMan for a DMan room.  Maybe we've just been too spoilt with the visual sex you normally provide. :^_^:

Not that it matters, but I guess I'll go ahead and tell the back-story to the room. I started out wanting to make a terrible palette combo, which was hot-pink, neon-green, and.. something else I forget. Somehow or the other the pink turned to that reddish color, and to give it some more feminine flamboyancy, I added the purple to compliment it. I actually liked the way it turned out though, it's vibrant. I think these kinds of nonsensical palettes end up capturing the alien atmosphere better. This isnt actually for a hack, I just made it in a few hours after having hacking withdraws.

Yeah kidding aside I really like that room because of it's vibrant colors. Alien planets could have spectrums of color we can't even perceive.

Agreed.  As long as things fit together well, there's no real reason wacky colours can't be used. :^_^:

Not bad, SMILEuser.  The 22.5-degree slope in the bottom right-hand corner looks out of place, however, since you didn't use any anywhere else. :^_^:

I'd have to agree with Quietus there, mainly because it seems like it's a different type of rock structurally, but shares the same palette/perspective as the other rocks. I dig the dark bone looking things in the BG, but I'm not sure it fits in with the theme of the room. I'd probably suggest dropping the arrow formations and that long line in the center parts aswell.

FollOfFail for me this week.  I like the vibrant look, though it could do with some customisation of the tiles, so that the corners don't stick out like sore thumbs.

Oh, I left the voting locked? Whoops, I felt like I was missing something earlier, but didn't know what.

Anyway, I went with Dman, I know the context of what he's going for, so it works. Simplicity can have a certain beauty to it. I like the palette also. Now that I look at more, I'm not sure I like the way the BG is aligned, the blockage/bricks isn't really repeating right.
