the map looks pretty interesting.
the other 2 screenshots,look... boring...
oh well,at least something.
what skills do you need for this hack?
(walljumping,mid-air morph ball etc.)

Well those are only screens of the first room so of course it isn't going to be anything spectacular.

As for skills, so far all that I have in mind that is going to be needed is wall-jump, Mid-air morph, and DBJ.  There will not be an IFBJ because I hate that shit...and there might be one or two spots where you'll need to mockball but they will be for items, not to progress on the main path.  I really haven't decided yet.  So far, I only have 15 rooms linked and ready to begin design and only one of those rooms has had it's design finished.  This is still a new hack. (I just started working on it two days ago) So yeah. ^^  Don't worry.  The rooms won't be boring, trust me.

I think they're very good looking, the palette somewhat reminding me of Volta. The map is definitely the most interesting screen though, that's a good map there.

I'm liking the blue-green palette in the screenies. The map itself seems different... not exactly sure how to explain it.

Thanks for the thoughts, guys. ^^  I worked hard on building that map on graph paper before putting it into the game and man...Some people said it was blocky...but with the new additions I added after the first screenshot of the map...Just really made it look a whole hell of a lot better.

Anyways, one new screenshot has been added to the wall.  It's not the best one, but it'll work.  Enjoy.

Haha thanks.  Three rooms are now finished with design, though I will be going to back correct a few tile errors and add a little more detail.  Stay tuned for another update. ^^

Did you take graphics and palettes from Redesign?  They look suspiciously similar...

They are from Redesign and before any of you begin to rage, I have permission from Drewseph himself.  all that will be redesign like is the Crateria set and the bomb jump speed.  That is all.  And with the bomb jumps, the ticker isn't going to be used.  Five bombs can still be placed, all thats going to be the same is the speed of the bombs that are laid.

The white in the CRE is way to light IMO (the doors, bridge, etc, but not the old corroded SCE pipes)

Yeah I was noticing that as well.  I'm gonna fool around with the palette and see if I can't make it a little darker.

3 possible permastucks (I can't see the BTS so I may just be talking out of my ass but...):
Picture 1:
Just above the top pipe at the bottom of the room, you have those two slopes on that shaft, if you don't have morphabll you would get stuck, or, if you have morphball and those pipes are solid, you would also get stuck.
Picture 2:
Right wall, 1 tile above Samus' head, the slope above the corner tile, that would also be a permastuck.

Once again, if you have those slopes as either solid tiles or air tiles, completely disregard this post.

Well, In picture 1, if that is premorphball, and they are air tiles, still a permastuck.

Looking good, I like the dark CRE.

Permastucks are being fixed when found and I will try to have them all rooted out before the test demo is released, but I still have quite a bit of work to do before then.  

For you Crys Sadi, the white in the CRE tiles has been corrected and it is now much darker to better fit the rest of the palette.  Stay tuned for updated screenshots of the new colors.

Another update:  Finished another room so I took another ingame screenshot for you all.  It's located at the bottom of the wall in the first post.  Enjoy.

Personally I think the map is pretty impressive looking, and I'm an absolute sucker for that particular Redesign palette so you've got me there! Can't wait to see more!

Also, anyone else notice the water FX1 looks a lot different?
