What's this madness going around about Other M redux?
A Super Overhaul of super metroid designed to have the enthusiasm of Other M still Yet to differ from the original super Metroid Therefore making this Other M Redux!

I don't understand....

So..... you finished Other M, and like it so much that you want to use stuff from the game in a hack (which is understandable, as I had the same sentiments ;D) but instead of adding these things to your own hack that you've already got started, your gonna make a NEW hack that apparently is supposed to be a remake in 2D? And yet for this remake hack, you make a room that looks nothing like Other M at all, and would be best off in another hack all together, such as your original hack, as I've already mentioned.

Now if any of this is incorrect, please correct me.... because like I said, I don't understand the point of this, and was merely making an observation based on what little content that you have shown on this "project" of yours.

OK, let me explain. I was Bord and I finished metroid other m and I was Planing to do a remake of it. (Please note the word REMAKE it's not the same as copying the whole game... >_>)
So I got to it first 30 min. I FINISHED THE PHYSICS and then moved onto the game design. SI, You finished other m? :O it's a really short game.
it was like only like 8 hr. ON TOPIC It's planned to come our next year or somewhat... :D

I'm guessing that's suppose to be from Sector 2...? If this is a 2D version of Other M, I can't think of a single room that would look like that in 2D. If it's suppose to be original, could use some layer 1 lovin'.

Also, idea expected/10.

He has 7 pics on that page. I thought the first one was "eh...", but some of the others look better. I would hope that it would resemble Other M, though, or I wouldn't really see the point.

Well, if it isn't an exact Other M Remake (Beaten it twice, 100%ed it once w/o help.  =D) it's looking VERY good. I'm assuming one of those rooms is the old Blue Brinstar Elevator room or the Deep Norfair Elevator room? I'm also loving the ZM Graphics.

Anyway, the CRE palette for the 2nd picture looks....bleh. I would make it a little grayer.

Back on topic, red numbers on doors are wrong. It never should be be like:

FF
40

Try to open a door with bomb and you'll understand what I mean. Instead of copying doors from CRE and flipping bottom part of them, just copy existing door with bubble from another (non changed) room.
