I don't mind extended fight lengths as long as it isn't an overwhelming stacked against you fight. Like in my mini-hack I have Kraid with a lot of health (but you have tons of missiles) so that I can have fun fighting him. Same with the Bomb Torizo.

But don't worry, the Torizo fight isn't really all that long. In fact, the original Gold Torizo fight in Sigma was about 10 seconds long depending on how fast you could fire. :p

Just to let everyone know, progress has picked back up on this project from my recent slump, so I've already managed to get the Morgue area done, and will be making Maridia's side-Draygon path next.  :smileyspam:

Looks cool, but I would tune down the two brightest colors on both of the red ones in order to make it blend better. :<

Good stuff, Skree, but I agree about toning some of the red down.  For me it was just the brightest red on the lighter coloured areas (highlights) - the block in the middle at the bottom, for example.

Crys: Thanks; I appreciate the advice, but the blaring yellow highlights gives the perfect feel to the rock. I toned it down a little bit, and still tried to keep the yellow flare. It looks better.

In other news, I estimate the hack to be about 70% now and rate of progress is consistently fast. It's looking like it'll be done by a little after summer is finished.

Anyway at least it seems you have been able to keep consistent progress going. I have no problems doing a huge amount in a little bit of time, but keeping it consistent is not my strongest point right now.
