The Forums Should Be More Active

I ran into this recently published article (ouch) about currently active forums, and apparently SMWCentral and Zeldix were able to make the list, but Metroid Construction is nowhere to be found v_v;

The forums are the first thing a lot of people see when they come here, and given how active they are I wonder how many people just assume our community is dead.

I would be in favor of using the forums more, but in practice, I just don't think most people are interested. Whether or not it's a situation we like, it would probably be more productive at this point to push the Discord more insistently across the site

I'll definitely try my best to use the forums more, though !

I share this sentiment, but it's gotten so much more activity than last year. (And that year more than the one before.)

Truth be told, between 2020 and 2022 there was such little activity on the forums, (and I was not on discord,) I was under the impression that all the people I talk to on a daily basis had retired from hacking. Metconst was a ghost town in my mind.

Every so often we'd get a hack, but I had no idea what all was happening behind the scenes, purely from a general public perspective.

There certainly has been a revitalization of forum activity as of late, but I do wonder if it can accelerate to the point it needs to still. I'm all for trying, and I'd like for it to work out, but I'm hesitant to have faith
