Since the massive increase of spambots on Discord lately, I decided to leave Discord again...
But if I'm inactive on Discord for 2 years, Discord will delete my account!

H A M, I'm pretty apprehensive with virusy links myself, but I don't think you should let that keep you off the server. I know I've learned a lot from all the fine folks there. Besides the mods/staff do a good job nuking those posts almost immediately.

If you do drop off Discord, I'll keep up with you here, of course. Best of wishes man.

There's also an open-source alternative to Discord called Revolt, which has way less spambots due to its relative unpopularity. Basically Discord is to Windows as Revolt is to Linux.

Here's an easy way to stop spambots:
For generated accounts that scans for server invite links eventually finding the Metconst server link, put a blockade that when you join the server, you'll need to do a human verification check.
For hijacked accounts, when you're inactive (doesn't post a message) on the server for more than a week, you'll get muted and to get unmuted you'll need to verify you're human.

Server staff don't want to put verification systems in place because they're inconvenient for both the user an staff

spambots are also inconvinent for mods

One small inconvenience every couple months is less of a hassle than one medium inconvenience up to multiple times daily

H A M, the music server's been kinda quiet without you around. Like in a sad way. Glad you're active on the forums though. You still doing music stuff?

And one inconvinence (creating an account) per user when we decided to move to revolt

They should be hijacked by a human, not a bot, so the hijacker can post only in 1 channel (#off-topic) so more people are likely to fall for the trap!
