[SM] Samus' head icon on the main menu screen

I have spotted the menu stuff in the ROM as shown here: http://patrickjohnston.org/bank/8E

but when I edit Samus' head in TLP I note that it doesn't change the output in the game.  Are the tiles compressed somewhere else? I can't seem to find them with the special GFX exporter in SMILE...

Ignore me, looks like there's some kind of antipiracy stuff hardcoded in there.  the main menu icons are stored at PC $1B5A00  :^_^:
