[SM] Elevator not scrolling properly

So I figured out how to use doors and changing the locations that they go to but I recently changed the location of an elevator going down and on the 2nd screen after it transitioned Samus was infinitely remaining in place trying to go down.  Is this a scroll problem? How do I fix this?

Elevators can be the worst. Double check the Super Metroid Mod Manual's section on elevators. Good luck.

As soon as I stand on my elevator it transitions to the next room without letting me use it and I fall down the elevator shaft.
I have a BTS of 02 for both door blocks directly below the elevator enemy in both rooms and a BTS of 01 for the ends of both rooms.  For the topside of the elevator room, all the values are the same for all 4 blocks except the 2 blocks directly underneath the elevator enemy say Door $02 instead of Door $01.  Its the same on the other room.

It's likely you've also connected up your elevator door BTS to the room the elevator would connect to. Here's an example of how your door data should look if it's below an elevator enemy:
0000 F8 07 00 03 00 00 0004 8000

I appreciate the help.  I played with Xi values (that I learned from ShyGuy tutorial) and turned my elevator from crateria to tourian into a door transition without door caps.  And after play testing going up and down, the doors and transitions are functioning with no bugs or scroll problems so I am satisfied.  As of now, elevators are a bit over my head so I will stick with doors.  Now I just need to learn how to apply more than 1 IPS patch to my hack :P
