Gee that title screen looks familiar. It's almost like we made it 4 years ago.

I made a mistake and released my engine with the menu graphics intact - because I sorta kinda forgot about them after my weeks of focusing on other aspects of the engine. I don't see the need to show any tact to someone who knowingly used assets from a project that wasn't even public in the first place, Alex. I'm glad you've chosen not to 'shit on what we said' because otherwise we'd have to take this issue a number of steps further.

I told you not to use anything from our project, and to do it yourself. You made the choice to keep going with it. Honestly, it's not about credit anymore.
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
"I do not want you to use anything we made, at all, for anything."

If the graphics in your engine look like shit as a result of us not allowing this, then too bad. Learn to stand on your own two feet and make your own work. Maybe after a couple of months of staring at pixels and meticulously animating each frame, you'll appreciate why we're so pissed about this.

And as for making ourselves 'useful,' we don't work together. We're busy with unrelated projects as it is. We never did this stuff for your benefit in the first place.

Why don't you come clean? How did you even get our work in the first place? Who gave it to you?

We never made these assets public. There's very few other options for how he got these pieces. Judging by what he has, though, it looks like he tore apart a executable. There's still some things he shouldn't have access too.

Also that's a beautiful logo, bud.
