Super metroid redesign was, sadly enough, made on a mac I believe.
idk though, wanna try things out for yourself? :p

One: Wrong place.
Two: Good question, if a little short for a subject post. SMILE, Editroid, Double Helix and similar were really all written for Windows OSes, and I'm not sure if the authors made versions compatible with Unix-based systems (at least Double Helix was written in C++. SMILE is written in Visual Basic. D;)

My best guess would be either VMWare or asking someone else who knows Macs. Try irc://irc.esper.net/jzd.

Meh... I used what I was most comfortable with. I did, however, use a little bit of C to make smile.dll

Force Jathys to upgrade to .net.
Then you can use it with Mono.
????
Profit.
