Wow, I haven't been able to find mountains that big. But I've heard of them. Supposedly it's the generation cutting the mountain in half for whatever reason. Epic find, dude.

Since there doesn't seem a more obvious place: Any suggestions as to the different coloured grasses / trees in Minecraft.  I've noticed that if I trek a little from my base, I find lush, bright green grass / foliage, yet near my base they're often more autumnal, with brown / yellow colours.

Eh, been playing Minecraft alot lately and made this.

Ignore the actually crappy designs of the areas, everything is a WIP. I do plan to release the world when I get done, though. So those 1-2 people who still play it can check it out if they want in the future.
