After I've typed that, I'd like to say I'm not trying to come of as a douche, but being quite honest.

Note that we came across the "will someone due custom music for me?" situation before and the result is that if you want some kind of extreme ASM hack like that, it's really advised that you have act together. In other words, make sure you've got something to show that the music will really be worth it for the hack because if the hack doesn't look to promising then not many will show attention toward it which would make such ASM be a waste of time. In other words, it better be a damn good hack.

Also, if someone put Rundas' Battle theme in SM, I would make love to said person regardless of their sex.

Sadiztyk Fish knows how to make music, she's made several Mario themed ones for Rainbow City for me already.  But do note, those songs are not as elaborate as the ones you are trying to use.

Songs like that would be almost impossible to get into SM and have them sound the same, due to the fact that you only have a limited number of instruments and channels to work with.
You can't actually insert music into the game, you have to create it from scratch using the N-SPC format, which is quite time consuming, and can take up to thousands of bytes, depending on the intricacy of the song.

Also can I ask what "manual" you got for it? I'm pretty sure i'm the only one who's written any documentation on SM music, except for MoN's IRC thingy, but that wasn't a manual at all.

Where, I don't see any tile errors, I think I see the tilling thats bad but nothing other then that.

you can it just probably won't sound EXACTLY like it does on youtube or in the game.

BTS errors ahoy! :razz:

The two Missile images do not appear.  The Agon Access room needs something doing with the ceiling.  With very few exceptions, no room should have an entirely flat ceiling / floor, especially when it's natural terrain.  Industrial stuff often gives you a little more reason to do so, but it's still worth mixing up even then, as it looks better.

It's entirely flat cause there's JUST enough space to fill the room, I'd give the ceiling a do over if I had the space. I'll fix the Missile IMGs now.

So, the ceiling is flat, because you ran out of space? You can just repoint the Level Data pointer. It's easy.

I can think of a few ways around the flatness:

1, Raise the spikes, and the lowest part of the room, make the scrolls blue, and then all of the tiles you'd remove from the bottom (last two rows not required) can then be used to alter the ceiling.
2, Have one of the room's edges, just below the door, head straight to the door, rather than having a gap, and then use the extra space for a few tile alterations.
3, Even failing the above two options, having one kink in the ceiling wouldn't really use any more tiles, as you're essentially shifting things upward.

Thanks Quietus and SMILEY. I'll be sure to fix up on my Errors and bugs before the Demo. I'm almost at the part where I'll let you play it though.

I agree with quietus about the flatness and errors. I am really liking how your charge beam access room is shaping up though. Just a suggestion: the 4 plants in the bottom would look better if you did something to add some variety to that lower right area of the room. if you took out those blocks floating magically in the middle of the room and had some platforms protruding (sp?) from the sides of the room you could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The appearance and style of the room looks great IMO regardless

Well, It's the dawn of A new day as [SM]: Dark is Released as A demo/beta. That day has come. Get your copy of Super Metroid: Dark here. Game is unheadered.

Items: 20 Missiles, 3 E-tanks, 2 R-tanks, Ice beam, Morph ball, Bomb, Charge beam and Gravity suit.

Item changes: E-tanks only support 50 energy so you start with 100 and not 99. Item boxes say original names and menu says name wanted.

Bosses: Spore Dragon, Torizo and Kraid.

Skills needed: One wall-jump, Mid air morph, bomb jumping, Save state use.

And that's all so far. Lots more to accomplish. Have fun.

Make sure when you made the patch that you chose the ORIGINAL rom and not the one you're editing. I haven't tried to patch it yet, but that could be an easily overlooked problem.
