[M1][ASM]Having difficulty with the mini-map patch.

Working on a hack on Editroid right now, and I'm having a lot of difficulty trying to figure out out how to add the mini-map. Copying and pasting the code into Editroid directly doesn't work because it's meant to be assemble in the X816 assembler, which doesn't even open on my PC. What other methods should I try? I'm I just misunderstanding something?
