I kept meaning to make a whole thread for this (and probably will at some point I guess), but for now I'll just link this development blog thingy I made recentally instead: https://smhackingsuite.wordpress.com
Lemmi know whatcha think

This is pretty cool. It's worth checking out even just for the Hexer updates (seriously, it's going to be so awesome when it's finished)

Thanks Jordan :P

I think my newest post (from tonight) best shows why this can be useful: https://smhackingsuite.wordpress.com/2016/05/23/multi-offset-multi-byte-tweaks/

You could take a look at the Super Metroid Editor from a while back (load the language selector first). You may be able to decompile it, or maybe just use it for some ideas. :^_^:

Steel Sparkle

that editor SMHS looks pretty suite  :^_^:

As I tend to make more and more code alterations to my hacks, I would like it if your program could support custom locations with some kind of template that could be shared.

Well, it'll have the feature to add your own custom tweaks, so unless you mean you're code changes have some consistent offset to standard addresses, you can just add new versions that need the different addresses. You can also just go into the txt file containing all the tweaks and change the offset directly. They are stored in a simple format: Name | Catagory | Description (optional) | Editable Y/N | Offset/s | Previous bytes | New bytes
However, if you do that then remember not to press the refresh button until you've copied out the changes you made, because the button will replace the not custom tweaks with any new tweaks added to the git address

@Zero One

The funny thing with that scene of Heavy Rain is that my game bugged out, and Jason was standing still. I easily got to him, but got no response, so I could just stand there yelling 'Jason' when he was right in front of me. :^_^:

DSO

I'm seeing Hatsune Miku in Chicago tomorrow.

Digital_Mantra

I'd love to see Sharon Apple in that format.

DSO

I'll let you know if I get hypnotized.

Also TIL time zones actually exist and I'm going to be an hour earlier than I thought.

Steel Sparkle

Memeorial day weekend is almost here so yay! 3 day weekend

Quietus

Yup. Three days off work, and I now have my dog back. He underwent two four-hour surgeries on his spine for a prolapsed disc, which is where the cartilage between the vertebrae bulges, and pinches the spinal cord. He's now home, recouperating, and has his first hydrotherapy session tomorrow morning. His name, Trooper, is very much appropriate. Time to smile again. :^_^:

Steel Sparkle

Sorry to hear your dog had to go through all that. Good to hear he is doing better though  :^_^:

The Monster of Surrealton

Back from the third world.

Did sinful things with a woman of the evening whose name and phone number I never got.
Gained 50 pounds from fried food and pizza.
Played Tekken 7 at the arcade.
Watched lots of Korean/Chinese/Japanese movies.

Quietus

The first point is good.
The first part of the second point is bad because the second part is good.
The third point is good.
The fourth point is good.

Overall, I'd say you could consider third worlding again.

Small life update:
The past few weeks I've been having extremely severe recurring pains in my abdomen, so I've spent a good amount of time bouncing from doctor to doctor to hospital to doctor, hoping to find out what the hell is wrong. So far:

  • Nothing has shown up on an ultrasound (not pregnant!  )
  • Anti-inflammatories have done nothing to help
  • It's at least most likely not cancer
Had blood drawn today (on four hours sleep after an eleven hour shift, no less), test results come back Wednesday. The doctor thinks that the strain from all the lifting I've been doing has been adding to it (not that we can work out what the hell it is), so it's looking like I might be looking for a new job. Again.
Two steps forward, nine steps back? :<_<:

Quietus

It can be frustrating not being able to pinpoint a problem. Hopefully, it'll be nothing serious. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :^_^:
