I just wanted to say thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, it really means a lot to me.
It's been great becoming a part of this community. My time here has had it's ups and downs but in the end I'm really glad I joined. Thank you all and I hope to have another great year with you guys!

Well a week ago I found that SM has fully funtional Screw Attack blocks in the game, just never used. Does that count?

Go, Scyzer.  It's your birthday (at some point in the next 365 days).  I guess there could have been any number of reasons why they decided to leave them out.  Perhaps it was late in the development cycle, and the map was all but complete, and would have taken too much work to RedesignTM.  Or perhaps there was a bug that they just couldn't seem to work around.  Maybe one of their testers discovered the GGG, and decided it'd break the game too much to grab it so early. :^_^:

And yeah, Eyedol do this all the time (but after 3 hits).

I've checked this earlier, but didn't found something similar.

EDIT: Just found it. There is a check for a Samus' poses $81 and $82 while I was excepecting to see a check for a certain Samus contact damage.

Yes, looks like the blocks are working, but they are not respawning and have no graphics.


As for the mystery, no. Another thing. Looks like I've found a traces of Spider Ball in Super Metroid. I just supposing that this was planned as Spider Ball, but maybe another item instead. All evidences will be posted in the new topic when I finish the descriptions.
