ok as long as you dont take full credit for it.

according to this post(http://forum.metroidconstruction.com/index.php/topic,4512.0.html)
Physix made the original sprites but he likes to take credit for things he didn't do so who knows

Exactly, i dont take full credit of something i don't do by my self, and about Physix, he expend more than 20 hours on this sprites and thats something we need to appreciate, besides any one can download his patch and see the difference on both versions :) i dont mind to much if some one use my stuff because im here to share, and if some one ever say he is the author of something that i made, sooner or later, he will get discovered, and that's embarrassing. :nuhuh:
I got spring ball with varia and i have tried to escape without gravity suit and bombed all walls.https://photos.app.goo.gl/MFNncgzs5wOIBfdk2
Totally forgot to mention this in my review of ancient chozo...
You have the best solution for Draygon, literally ever. I will be using quicksand now, thanks to you.
Lol well that definitely will happen if you don't have the gravity suit at that point because I put that block to teach the player that the spring ball also use speed booster in morhp ball

By the way.. this hack is so genius in so many ways. thanks so much for your work.

If i may suggest, eliminate water in that room should you decide to update it in the near future.

It'd be worth putting a regular speed boost segment right before the spring ball room. It'll stop you if you don't have speed booster or gravity, so it's the best of both worlds.

Ri2nOneRok

Im not sure if i read all the posts on weather the developer wanted to have a linear game but it would not hurt to allow the player to have success in obtaining items in a non linear format. With water out of this room, the player can still learn to speed ball, as I have once I obtained gravity suit. While I am not a speed runner I like to challenge myself in getting items without an orderly sequence and i felt a bit let down. Not because of the developers intention, but because of a small issue.

I really love the graphical overhaul of this hack! I was a bit disappointed that the map is still basically the same as vanilla/Project Base, but that's what I get for not reading all the posts I guess. The stuff you did change from the original was great, I love how you teased the Spazer and changed the Power Bomb room, I'd love to see you make a new hack with an all original map.

albert v.

Thank you! I know it may disappoint, but honestly this doesn't have to be the same layout, I have added many, MANY rooms new routes, new puzzles! A lot a new stuff.

If I decide to keep the same map is because I love PB and of course for me is lake a better version of the original game so I always want something like this, an expansion of the original game with a lot of extra stuff as new room, new grafics and new secrets! So I suggest you should try to beat the whole game and then geme a review on the hack section, that will help me taking decisions on future updates  also please try to find the 104 % as well  this will help you to consider to give it a fair qualification.

This hack is, like, a tribute to the General Hacks Screenshot Thread. Years of hack ideas that were just in-progress dreams are brought to life in this hack...

I'm glad you've tapped into my nostalgia. albert, whatever you do, don't stop hacking.

oh that's kind from you, i'm glad you like it, thanks!

And yeah, I always wanted to see the Arboretum project finished, I remember the first time I saw  black falcon's video, I was like  :whoa: WOW! this can't be real!  then I read the project was discontinued and I get a bit sad, so I promise myself to learn all this stuff and try to retake that and bring it to life! also I thank you, for that nice and beautiful tileset of new reef maridia, that was another reason to have the most beautiful reef maridia till now, and it would not be possible to looked like that without the work you made.

Man! That Hyper metroid was one of the best hacks i ever played, i really liked,
i like how you improve making new graphics and tilesets giving a diferent experience to the player.

I'm looking forward for more stuff made frome you :)
Thank You!  :^_^:

The Envoy of the Beginning

I'm playing version 1.1.0 of this ROM hack, and I can say that this has the best aesthetics that I have seen in a Super Metroid ROM hack. The gameplay is nice, aside from early game where carelessness can cost dearly.

Unfortunately, I encountered a permastuck at the tunnel underneath the Wrecked Ship:

albert v.

Well, looks like I haven't fix all permanent stucks..  Thanks!

Aran;Jaeger

That's a classical stuck, the typical diagonal slope with solid ceiling/floor trap kind of stuck. Works just as good as on day 1  .

Ooohh! This looks awesome! Gonna have to give this a check out!

Project Base and Hyper Metroid have managed to find a rival to the height.

It's not "any" Metroid hack that has the "level of quality" of Project Base and Hyper Metroid, but Ancient Chozo has come to show that the "rookie" can be as good as the "veterans"

Albert V, congrats dude!

I came here because of a YouTube channel called "Samuca", I found this incredible game besides being very beautiful and well worked.

Seem to be stuck in Maridia. Otherwise, this hack is quite nice. Spikes are overkill though.
I thought I lost the baby metroid, but I had to drop a power bomb to make it come out and break the blocks before botwoon
Ok, what is up with that Chozo Statue in Maridia? The one where the Turtle would be? I do not like that idea one little bit...

I know what you mean, but you can definitely kill it. Spam it with beam shots until it finally explodes. Takes like 5 minutes or something. I would know since I did this twice.

Speaking of. Albert, I tried the new patch recently, not a big fan of how bombs can send you like a cannon to one side or another when you're looking for secrets. Otherwise, new changes are great. That's my feedback.

Yeah, so annoying.  I came back for this much later with tons of supers, but at this point the E tank is just a novelty heh

albert v.

The giant chozo statue is holding the turtle that can die with 25 supers, but also can be kill with bombs thats very easy now wit instant bombs hold down and place bombs wil explotes really fast so this can not be that anoying if you find the other way to do it...

also you dont need to kill the eye ball, that's just an edited enemy to make hard getting that energy tank... i can't let the game be so easy come on...

kainpen

How the do you store the shinespark charge? I would be nice if that would have added to instructions, in the readme since they changed the way it functions. I manged to only getting to store once. I have no clue how I did it. Tapping down is not working for me like it does in the original game.

Strokend

So, while toying around in Maridia, I found these egg/item-orb blocks that didn't react to my bombs, and decided to use a power bomb on anyways. Found a pleasant surprise flying out of the doorway: Baby metroid that ate the eggs and started circling Samus.

Is this an existing thing in the game's files, a modification of the existing metroid AI (but without damage to Samus), or something else?
