Alright :D. By the way i found a SM Phazon v0.2 ips (the one that fixes the map) download so I'm back in the past once again. Although I notice some changes in that one that i don't quite remember. Spazer is slower in it ;-;.

Yes and no. the GFX and rooms are done. but SMP 0.4 is not being put together in SMILE like 0.3 was so it takes longer make changes, and i have 4 times more testing too do because of the alt. realities and dark world.

i think i have a mounth to go. so it sould be less than 3 mounths. it could faster, i dont know because this is my first time useing large ASMs to assemble a rom

Are there going to be more Phazon Particles and stuff? I ask because it might be difficult to find them all if the game is four times larger than 0.3. It looks really cool though  :^_^:

I'm confused on what X Parasites have to do with anything here, but they're also invincible. Only Metroids can kill them, and Dark Samus doesn't have Metroid DNA.

Um, Dark Samus is THE Metroid. It is basically Metroid Prime with a bit of Samus's DNA and a Phazon Suit.

Also I think X-parasites were brought up because of my signature, which parodies the Borg in Star Trek.

I never actually got the 100% in MP1 to unlock that scene, so I didn't realize the shed Phazon merged with Metroid Prime. Kind of thought it was just her suit's energy powering it to life. Her ability to siphon Phazon energy now makes a lot more sense, though! (Does leave me to wonder, though, since she never actually absorbs Bio-energy, instead opting to kill the pirates who get in her way, can she still consume X?)

Not much yet besides the new map and a couple new doors that I saw. I don't now yet. Been waiting since the day SMP v0.4 was mentioned on here. Only difference was I never posted anything anywhere on the forums till now.

If you're okay with waiting a long time, then by all means. However given how Red Monkey seldom posts progress updates, 0.4 could be anywhere between months and years away. Also considering what he's stated about 0.4 so far, it seems like it's going to be almost an entirely different beast to 0.3. I doubt there will be too many spoilers there.

IIRC, the story (at least for v0.3) is based off of the intro of Metroid Prime 3.  In MP3, you see Dark Samus breaking out of a container, and that's it.  Nothing is mentioned on how she escaped her predicament in order to eventually encounter Samus on Norion.  This hack fills in that gap to some degree (at least the escape part).  You play as Dark Samus, starting from the capsule and working your way to becoming stronger, until you can escape the planet you are on.

I really liked the visuals in v0.3, and the changes I've read about so far seem very interesting.  This might become one of my top-3 favorite hacks.  I look forward to seeing v0.4.
