There's nothing shameful or wrong about a naked human body. You might find, when you think about it, that there are quite a few of them on the planet.

I understand that people have made plenty of sexual images of samus. No shit! She's a female protagonist of a popular videogame series largely played by male teens. Something you'll just have to live with.

I touched up Grime's naked samus because I wanted it there. If you're offended, clearly our opinions on how things should be done don't line up. That happens to me a lot with a lot of people, but that's just how it is living among 6 billion individuals and all.

Lets get back to talking about Hyper Metroid now.

At most I'd say it's simply further realism and not feeling the need to cover up her body because people will be offended if they see a naked woman, because it's not like people are naked by nature or anything.

Now, I generally don't give a flying fuck about this discussion argument debate. But I'd like to point out that it's more unrealistic that samus is naked under the powersuit. A full body suit or some form of sports wear would make more logical sense for her to wear while in the powersuit. This has also been shown to be the case in all titles past super.

Is this a big deal though? Not really, this is just another hack on the internet. (Which controversially, is also a place where you can find real porn!)

Does this change add anything to the hack? Can't really say it does that either.

Lets get back to talking about Hyper Metroid now.

I wasn't saying it was realistic for her to only have the power suit on, I was saying the reality is that she is a woman, and a human being. I think that feeling the need to show that she has clothes on when dieing is silly, and shows a fear of how the public will be offended by someone being naked.
When samus dies, her power suit explodes and shatters off of her, so I'd also like to point out that's it's not realistic for her to have fully intact clothing on after that.
Once again I'll say that I personally don't prefer her to be naked in death, but I do think that it can actually add to the experience if it isn't overly sexualized, which is isn't in the original final frame, nor is it in hyper metroid.

Absolutely amazing hack! With a little TLC, a few more versions, it will be the best ever made.

But until then, there are a few minor mistakes. There's one medium mistake in Gold Torizo--as someone else said, it's nothing but a glorified HP check.

But there is one major mistake: Draygon. No matter how I prepare, even with all the sequence breaks I can muster, I CANNOT beat Draygon without slowmo.

I'm pretty sure she's a fictional character, meaning that in reality she's merely the figamentation of somebody's imagination.

Anywho, MetroidPeter, Grime released a recensoring patch for Samus' death animation in the Project Base thread last time somebody (rightfully, imo) complained about this change. I haven't tested it out, but it should work on top of Hyper Metroid without a hitch.

(The real question here should be why has no one implement a Nestroid-style death animation.)

That's true, they would most likely break, much like, you know, her body. There are many ways one can do this to try and make it more realistic. Though personally, I don't consider it to be something that is worth the time and effort; Since really, it does not add much at all to the game.

Hey there, terrific hack so far. I came here to report a glitch I found with Ridley. He got stuck in the left side of the central platform while pogoing. I was on the right side and he was facing the left entrance. Once he got stuck I was free to unload charged shots until he was out of HP. He then became unstuck, picked up Samus and did the usual death animation. Really strange, I wish I had footage of it.
