Hmm, tough one. I love the wrecked ship tileset but I also really like the layering on Daltones room...

Project for me, I don't have much to say about his room, it's not esspecially interesting, but it's not bad.
As for Daltone, I feel your room is a little jumbled. the laylering isn't bad, but it feels inconsistent, and the colours a bit too bright. Imo anyway.

Btw, sorry I haven't posted in rotw in a while. Just lazy I guess. I'll have a room next week though.

I'm gonna vote project, it actually is a good room but i dont really like the ceilings

that other guy sucks, needs more plants and maybe some pipes and what not

good color palette on the front most stone tiles. i really dig the blue gray rock. and you have good layering skill.[/spoiler]

I pretty much mirror Red Monkey's criticisms. There's nothing particularly wrong with either of these rooms, but at the same time there's nothing unique either. I know both of you guys are capable of much more detailed, and impressive rooms. Back to the drawing board you go *cracks whip*

Edit: I forgot to mention, I'm going with Dalton. I'm a multi-layer fanboy. It does need some additional detail, though. Also, around the elevator part, I'd recommend raising the ceiling slightly. Looks like it's barely 3 tiles tall. Would just seem too cramped. Might run into a bts and have to morphball to get out.

[spoiler=good]Wowy Wowy wow wow wow! this is a f@cking Awesome room. the door colors rock. the layout reminds me of a castilevaina room. best mix of classic tiles i've seen and with added custom tiles, it all goes together vary well.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=bad]not much except the back ground seems lacking around the green pillars. and the Zebes in those doors seems out of place with all that custom goodness.[/spoiler][/spoiler]

Oh god the blue. My cones, they burn. And, wait, do I spy some Spikes Everywhere?
Great room, man. Totally don't need some kind of contrast in that palette somewhere, nope.

Shadow96: Saw this room already, still love it. Palette is great, the vegetation and ruins work really well together, and the room itself has a pleasant looking flow. Only nit picks are the greens seeming a little offset on the statue just to the left of the middle and the 'background' bricks by the bottom right door being a little to bright for a backing.

FoF: Wth? Is that even possible (provided all those pointy tiles are spikes)? Going by that, I can't tell where the entrance is. If it's the left then you are an evil person for forcing people to do HBJ. If it's the right, you're still evil. Spike hell aside, I guess the palette looks good. I'm seeing purple but my bro is saying it's blue. :eyeroll:

Shadow wins my vote.
