Voted JamieWebb. That's room definitely stands out as something unique and interesting.
Webbers room was alright, but it was boring, and the design scheme has been done many times.

Honestly, I'm surprised there's a tie going on. I see no contest this week.

Webber1900: Basically what DMan said, it looks nice and the palette is nice, but it's the same room I've seen and made a thousand times before. Nothing really stands out.

JamieWebb16: Voted for Jamie. I love the layering going on in this room, and those doors are sexy. My only complaint would probably be the palette, as much as I like pink, there's too much of it going on in that room.

My two cents on Jamie's palette: I actually really like it. It might not look so great if an entire hack consisted of only these palettes, but for a single room, I dig the subtle variations.

Webber1900: As much as I adore this room, it is basically just another Crateria room.

JamieWebb16: This room is from the reedit of Dark Cloud and the palette was from the original hack I made back in 2010, just modified to set the mood for the room. The whole hack AIN'T all going to be that color, so you don't have to worry about me overdoing the pink for the whole hack. Thanks to the people who voted, and happy hacking! :grin:

I don't suppose it's too terribly important what's FG and what's BG in Jamie's room since it's just one of those run-through-this-transition-room-to-get-to-the-next-area type rooms. As for Webber, the design is solid, looks very vanilla, that palette is OMGSEXY but ye, not-another-crateria-room

Blarget: When modifying the horizontal scroll areas of your rooms, note that it will destroy the tile configuration in the scroll areas, and it's a good idea to go back and fix what got messed up.

Besides the point. I obviously placed each of those tiles on purpose.... then put 5000 frames of the same frame in a gif to make the file size bigger.

Here's my submission just to get the ball-rolling. I have no intentions of actually picking up votes.

Not voting this week, since there aren't two people submitting rooms for competition.  I will say that I like Project's room, though it looks a little odd that the shaft on the right doesn't enter into the centre of the opening below it.  You probably wouldn't even bat an eyelid in-game, but it looks odd when viewing the whole room like that.

Those darn space pirates and their failure to drill sufficient amounts of rock out of the way! Let's hope Samus doesn't scrape her ship on the rocks, she just put a down payment on it!
