Hey folks. I recently really got into Minecraft, even though it seems really pointless. I really wanna buy the game, but am pisspoor and have to ask my dad for money.
That aside, I have decided to start a new game and keep a day-to-day diary, playing 1 Minecraft day each day, or at least posting a story each day for each Minecraft day I have written down. It's mostly written in 1st and 3rd person, erratically switching between the two like any amateur writer.

Anyways, on to the good stuff(?)
Minecraft diary - Day 1

I wake up with nothing but the clothes I'm wearing in a place unknown. Luckily I used to have an extensive camping hobby, and studied geology.
From books I also know a lot about mining. Another hobby of mine was crafting things, with or without workbench.
Knowing that I had limited time before nightfall, during which creatures that shun light would surely seek prey, I started looking for resources to build a small hut with.

After finding some trees, I decided to punch the living shit out of them, and they turned into nice, square logs. From each square log I crafted four smaller, smooth planks. With my bare hands. Using four of these, I crafted a workbench, which immediately gave me more possibilities for crafting, whenever I was near. Once built, I utilised this great tool to make four sticks out of one plank. Then, by putting three planks and two sticks together, I made a wooden pickaxe, with which I could more easily get stone and dig tunnels necessary for the ores I craved. Almost each and every one of the ores I was looking for was stronger and more durable than my miserable wooden pickaxe.

Utilizing my wooden pickaxe, I collected a decent amount of stone. I decided to use the stone to build a house with, making it four by four by three, walls and roof included, so my actual space is two by two by two. I left a gap to place a door in, which I made out of six pieces of wood. I placed my workbench in one of the spaces, and then remembered I used to smelt metals in a pan on the furnace. Thus, it would be a good idea to build one. I went to get more stone and build a furnace on my workbench.
Now that half of the space in my house was taken, I decided to explore the beautiful valley and plains. Nearby was a waterfall crashing down from an overhanging cliff, coming out of a cave. What also came jumping out of that cave, was a green, slimy man, with his arms stretched forward, as if he were to grab something. I immediately realised this was a zombie.

Now hilarity ensued, because, as he dropped down, he got stuck in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. Now he didn't pose a threat, but rather a good amount of fun. I wondered if he could get out of the pool, only to be exposed to sunlight and be set ablaze whilst trying to drag me into a similar grave as his. I decided to near him. He noticed me, and started growling. I decided to release him of his misery via my wooden pickaxe. The creature was no more, and neither was my tool.

I decided my house needed some windows. I knew that if I collected sand, that I could smelt it into glass. I first needed to collect some wood, as I also needed a new pickaxe. After making both, night began to fall. I decided to quickly make some holes for my new windows and put them in before going to rest.
Oh, right. I forgot to mention that, if I die, this is over. I may start a new one though, and if I do it'll be in this topic. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, now shall we?

I've fell inlove with minecraft aswell. I built a house out in the ocean and now enemies are a thing of the past. There's only one path to my little oceanic residence, and I'll spot them way before they actually reach my base. I even made a tree-farm around it, so it's self-sustaining. From there I just kept expanding my water palace and made a mine to the bottom of the planet from within it. Got like 20 diamonds or so. I'm pretty set for quite awhile as far as resources goes. My next mission is a skycastle. I'll probably make it like Zeal from Chrono Trigger with the waterfalls coming down from it.
Minecraft journal, night 1

It is night. I am waiting for daybreak to banish and cast down the horrendous creatures that must be outside during these hours. My thoughts drift off to mining. The soil must be rich with ores. I have already sighted coal and iron ore in the cliffs. I listen to the sheep outside, as I wait for sleep.
