Also, having read a little about it, since it's not very clear, it's evident that it's still not very clear, and the 'successes' that it listed aren't anywhere on the science page like it said.  Me is baffled.

Basically it's a distributed computing program that uses all of your spare resources in the background. It aims to solve cancer and stuff.

You shouldn't notice any performance differences running or not running the program.
