Well, as soon as your finger recovers, do tell how you managed to break it.

I was playing four-square in gym. About halfway through class, someone who got out decided to slam the ball into me as I was advancing to the next square, even though I hadn't even touched the ball in that round. It didn't hurt too much, so I continued playing through the period, but when it was still hurting and getting a bit swollen next period in lunch, I thought something might be bad. Then, after the next period, I looked at it and saw several shades of purple and blue.

Also, while my finger isn't healed, it no longer hurts a great deal to type, so I can finally get back to some programming.

I have a splint for my finger now, which apparently only might be broken again (at first, I didn't think it was broken, but then my brother, who has had a broken finger, said it was definitely so), and it's very helpful. It's like having it on not only makes me unable to move it in painful ways, but also unwilling to move it, so now my surrounding fingers are automatically filling in for it. Typing the word "was" is a bit of trouble for me, as I used to use all three central fingers to type it, but that's what backspace is for.

Now that I think about it, this would be a great time to stop using backspace again... :icon_twisted:
