Metroid: HEX
(Hauntroid EXtended)
Summary:
Metroid: HEX is a minihack of Super Metroid, and a remake of my old Halloween hack, Super Hauntroid.
It features new enemies and bosses, new custom effects and sounds, and story events. The size of the hack is over 4x larger than Super Hauntroid, and about 2/3 the size of original Crateria.
The hack is very exploration heavy and event based, with few areas of combat.

Story:
Ever since her mission on the BSL Station, Samus has been experiencing nightmares, feelings of a monster trapped within herself, trying to escape.
Was this a side-effect of her spliced DNA? Or is something more sinister at work?
Sleep is now where Samus is most vulnerable.

Little did she know, something else had caused her descent into madness. Something ancient, unforgiving, intended.
One of five... They are coming...

Looks dope.  Liking those screenshots a lot, honestly thought it was a picture of AM2R at first (which is a big compliment on those new effects).

Been working on this daily, hoping to be finished and released by Halloween (although I'm not sure how likely that is).

I will need a couple of testers soon to play through it.

That rotating ring looks incredibly cool. Can't wait to see what it's used for in the end.

Wow, no idea how you do that rotating wall but that is some serious shit right there my friend.  Looks super smooth.

Yeah, being able to move terrain in a real-time manner could really open hacks up, especially puzzle types.
