cloning rooms

I read the guide and cloned a room so i tried cloning another and got a runtime subscript out of range error  i reopened smile and the new room is just like the one i just cloned where did i go wrong? and please no smart a** answers  they are so old!

Make sure that you also copy the room Index of the new room to the room MDB file. That is quite important. I'm not sure if you already did that, but that is something that is easily forgotten. If you already did that, re-read the SMMM's section on cloning rooms. Maybe you copied something incorrectly. The room you cloned looks just like the old room because all of the pointers are the same. In order to change anything and not have it change both rooms you have to make all new pointers for the new room. If all else fails, you can delete your SMILE's configuration settings to have SMILE open fresh at the landing site.
