[SM] Phazon Hack 0.5 (Under Construction)

Here's that 'garbage room' I mentioned earlier. It's in the Warp Zone/Spaceship/Dimensional Gorge (I can't check my map in there, so I don't know the name), inside of the middle-most door on the right side of the first room. Every other door (except the Power Bomb door, haven't been in there yet) works just fine and acts normally in this area. The top-right door takes me to Omnion, the bottom to the Tetrafuse. I'm not sure where the middle one is supposed to take me, my guess would be Cragsolus? Anyway, here are the screenshots I have.

When I enter this room, portals don't seem to work at all. The doors where they should be function 'normally', opening when shot at. It's full of breakable objects, most of which spawn back in pretty quickly causing Dark Samus to be stuck in the floor (which she can just Morph Ball out of). The 'ceiling' seems to be random heights all over, in some places I can stand, and others I cannot. The only way 'out' of this room (besides just reloading a save, provided you don't save one on your way into this room), is to jump around randomly near the center of it. There's some kind of harmful structure or enemy there, but it stays in one place and doesn't ever 'attack'. Firing a beam around it has no effect. The X-Ray Visor wasn't too big of a help here, either. I thought it could reveal some kind of a way out, but I guess not.

try downloading a new rom then redownload the ips Here then use LunarIPS to patch it. If that doesn't work i don't know what to tell you, because you may be the only one who is experiencing this glitch.

I used Lunar to patch it in the first place, but I guess it couldn't hurt trying again... I really don't want to go back through all of that just for the warp room, though haha

Digital_Mantra both those glitches have been fixed and the ips is posted on the first post.

I grabbed this on the 28th, so unless you've got a new ips file since then, I'll grab it.

Just a quick question: What do the Phazon Particles actually do? I can't find them in the equipment menu or anything, but I've already found two. They seem to be findable by looking for blue dots as well...

There are 50 of them. Once you find all of them, you'll get something awesome. You don't have to find them to complete the game.
They also speed up your health recovery at health recovery stations.

Invincible white Torzios? I think not! I killed them both shortly using the [spoiler]Dark/Light beam combination[/spoiler]
they seemed easy. Is this a bug? or no?
EDIT: it will instantly kill them both if you hit them with the beam combo I metioned above, using a somersault attack

Are you sure you mean Echo Beam? Because according to that map you have explored that room, and it is impossible to miss. It is a 1*3 room with the single door on the left. It is behind some Phazon Missile blocks.

I got to the last battle and...

surely this is a glitch?

You are not the only one. I tried fighting Ridley for a bit, but I was getting owned so I left and let him die with the planet instead.

Looking back I did know about this glitch but I am certain that I downloaded the patch where this was supposedly corrected.  Its just as well it was there though my fight against the previous boss had left me depleted of health and missiles with no opportunity to recharge.  It looked like a pretty tough fight until I high-tailed it out of there  :neutral:

Ive been running around for hours since i got speed boost without finding anything new. Ive been EVERYWHERE  i read every page on this thread and grapple should be next, right? Can someone please tell where it is? Its location has not been revealed in this thread yet ( a hint was "go as far to the right in Power Station and shinespark through a suspicious wall, but this didnt help) Many thanks in advance!!!!

Well, it's Tetrafuse and not Power Station now, but that is indeed the exact advice that you need to follow.

Ive investigated everything to the right of that area to the best of my ability n found the following: an E tank, 2 particles, a room that i need bombs, and like 10 doors that require power bombs   Plz give another clue im at wits end  :pwuh:

Search harder? Seriously, it isn't too hard to find. Discover a re-drawn Botwoon, defeat said worm, Grapple get. Oh, it is in red Tetrafuse, the place that everyone is saying to go to.

Yeah yeah ive combed red tetrafuse many times n didnt find it, but i suppose ill take another gander before watching the video  :wink:   Every time i hit dead end power bomb doors, a dead end room requiring bombs, an unresponsive blue door... I looked harder yesterday n found the big room next to the elevator shaft but that was just an etank and a particle. I found a lot of very well hidden stuff up to this point so this whole grapple thing is driving me bananers.

New botwoon is along the bottom of red tetrafuse, if my memory serves me right. Or he may be just off of an elevator. One of the two.
