Spider Ball?

I seem to recall, once upon a time, a patch existing (or that was in the works) that more or less duplicated the Spider Ball as it was done in M2. Does anyone know where that patch is, or if I'm just remembering something that never existed? I tried doing a basic google search and didn't come up with anything favorable.

Bear in mind that:

I advise not using that spiderball patch. It's shit, inefficient, and buggy. It was not tested at all, and made entirely in a hex editor in about half an hour (hence why it is IPS).
In fact I am going to remove it from my site right now.
