[SM] Long Beam Patch Problems

Don't know what section would be best for this.

I have tried applying/editing JAM's Long Beam patch for the past week, & everything functions fine besides collecting the actual item. Doing this causes the game to crash, so I am assuming it is the Message Box causing the issue. Forcing SMILE to give you a beam with a value of 2000 shows that the Long Beam works fine, & can be toggled, the menu displays it correctly, just collecting it is the only problem.

After looking through SetLongBeamMessage.asm, I noticed that JAM forgot to comment out one of his descriptive lines (line 206 "J: Fix1C1F subroutine is relocated...) Thinking this would cause the crash, I commented it out, but it changed nothing.

Hoping someone more seasoned can spot the issue, or if anyone can get it to work by applying it to a clean rom, I'd be very interested how you did it.
It also appears that JAM didn't include all of the necessary files in the last version of this patch that is on the main page, so you'll have to get the version before it as well.

Thanks. After I add this in I can finally start adding rooms/enemies/plms with confidence.

@JAM: Sorry, I didn't mean to seem impatient, I just know that you always got a lot of Super Metroid on your plate & was hoping it would be an easy enough fix that anyone here could possibly spot.

I've got your message, but have no time to reply and check the patch. I'll do it immidiately.

EDIT: Of course. I forgot to add the item PLM patches. They were ready, but just not included. Will release the fixed version today.
