The Mask Maker

Every now and then I get a wild urge to do something artistic.  It used to be drawing or painting, but for the last year or two it's been making masks.

The first one I call the "silver stitched skull".  It's made of clay and not wearable at all, more of a wall piece.



The second one IS wearable, and is my rendition of a Tengu from Japanese mythology.


And I even though I'm not all that into cos-play, I did make some clothing to go with it.


If I'm free on Halloween I may have to go play with the other kami.   :lol:

Even so, those are some pretty sweet masks. The skull one ESPECIALLY needs to be tiled onto enemies for your Super Metroid hack <_<>_>

Unfortunately those are the best pics I could get of it.   :icon_cry:  There are several really nifty objects that I have that won't allow themselves to be photographed.  They're always either blurry or obscured by some inexplicable haze, no matter how hard I try to take a decent picture. :icon_eek:
