Just caught a glimpse of this at another site dedicated to Nintendo stuff... sounds fricken epic. Check it out. +1 to their creative naming using a MP2 bug, as this is an expansion to their original album.

Quote from: shinesparkersHarmony of a Hunter is an album created to mark the twenty fifth anniversary of the Metroid franchise. A vast number of people contributed to this project to celebrate and mark this historic franchise, which includes music from the original NES Metroid through Metroid: Other M for the Nintendo Wii. The album features a diverse range of talented individuals covering a variety of genres which we hope will appeal to many musical tastes.

We hope that Harmony of a Hunter will be a fitting tribute to this wonderful series.

Expansion Pack Acquired: 101%
It means there is more music smart guy.

edit: also, as a pre-emptive to what is likely to be Crys STILL not getting it:
Shinesparkers are delighted to be releasing a third preview for our expansion Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run! Due to the popularity of our original project Harmony of a Hunter, which was created in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Metroid franchise, we decided to create a follow up to feature tracks that did not make it the first time around. 101% Run offers talent from the first album combined with some fresh new faces, bringing something new to the overall experience. The album still promises the diverse range of talent and genres you heard on Harmony of a Hunter, and we hope that it will be just as good as the original. Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run will be a two disc digital release, available free for download in November, allowing us to express our passion and love for the Metroid series once again.
So they are adding more songs, basically? :p

Why not just name it something less confusing? :V

Because 101% has a strong connection with video games? And since the first wasn't named that, it would imply more "completion," or bonus content?

Lunaria

No I meant, why still use the name Harmony of a Hunter for the extra things. My first thought when I saw this thread was that someone just found the old release. :V

Because it's an expansion TO Harmony of a Hunter.

So far my favourite would probably be Gravity. Perfect tribute to one of the greatest bosses in metroid.

personitis

Gravity is definitely my favorite. It captures the nature of Nightmare all to well. I also Doggelganger mainly cause I like heavy guitar stuff like that. Another would be Sanctuary Sentinel. Not a bad compilation of Remixes in my opinion though I feel like the songs either sounded good or they felt lackluster without much in between.
