Cool, looking forward to it. Hopefully it will release before this year or mid next year. :yay:

Quietus

The undo feature is certainly welcome. The odd tile every now and then wasn't a problem, but when you're copying large chunks, it's a pain if you make an mistake.

Haven't been around much lately, but I must say that editor you're working on is looking nice Biospark

Forgot to post this here, another UI update. Trying to make editing more simple.

That looks like sex, do want.

It looks like a cool looking editor so far, I just hope that it works better than the alternative afterwards! I've been wanting to make a full fusion hack forever!

Is there an option anywhere to highlight all tiles of the clipdata type you've selected? In SMILE, this can often be very helpful in ensuring you've got a solid surround for your room, or checking that you don't have erroneous air tiles in places you shouldn't.

If other people would like that, I can certainly add that to my list of eventual features.

FPzero

I'll agree that it's a very handy feature in SMILE and would make sense in this editor too.

MetroidMst

I use that feature in every room to make sure I have the correct tile properties in throughout. I imagine it would be a valuable addition to add in.

PonchGaming

So now we have custom backgrounds. What doesn't this have.

The palette editor was the oldest feature, so I decided to improve it.

A release date

It's getting close, but I won't make any promises about when.

Quietus

Everything just looks so yummy and simple. Keep up the great work, biospark. :^_^:

To be fair, double helix also had custom background importing

But I agree, this editor seems to have just about everything at this point.

Would it be possible to add the RGB values to the screen as well, perhaps just to the right of the hex color code?

They already are, unless you mean the 24 bit 0xRRGGBB format.

FPzero

I meant like the 255,255,255 type values.

Xenesis

I think as long as it does the GBA format in that window it should be set.

Looking spectacular though!

You can just multiply the values by 8. If other people would like that feature though, I'll add it.

FPzero

I just know that when I work in SMILE I find myself wishing for an RGB display like that. I can work with the sliders up to 1F no problem but I guess the way I do paletting it would benefit me to have the other numbers available to me at a glance, no math involved. Maybe others feel the same.

This project perpetually impresses me.
Does the Background Importer work on a per room basis or per tileset, or per something else?

Both. BG3 graphics are part of the tileset, and each room has a tile table. Currently it just uses the current room and its tileset. This means it will be tricky if you want certain rooms to have the background while others don't, though maybe I can figure out a way to simplify that.

Cpt.Glitch

Love what I am seeing biospark! Hopefully this will be released by the time I fix my PC's charging port.
