It's a minimal, no dialogue abstract 33 minute short.
Wanted to illustrate through the power of imagery and music how mature this anime could be.

Just got finished watching this and I must say your ability to immerse the viewer in your work is getting better and better. I love how the video starts off showcasing Piccolo as some mystical monk keeping everything on Namek in perfect order until the arrival of Vegeta. There were a few things I didn't quite get, but from what I gathered it seemed like Frieza was some sort of galactic virus that totally screwed over Vegeta's mind. The part where Frieza was moving his finger back and forth until blood sprayed was so....distubring, but I thought that was a step in the right direction in emphasizing how twisted his character really is. Also, nice job with the music. Set the atmosphere really well (the Bad Sector was like icing on the cake for me). I will be showing this to my friends and see what they think, but I personally think this is a jewel all in its own. Every person who claims to be a DBZ fan and I mean EVERY LAST ONE should watch this.

You were actually spot on with some things.

The DBZ characters in Reboot aren't canonical to the series/manga. Rather, they are superimposed affectations of the aliens known as Namekians, Saiyans, and Frieza.
