I replaced with FF's along with all nes data.
Not sure what will happen before unlocking, however selecting "original metroid" afterwards does nothing.

Please use the full ROM address. It helps differentiate between rom, wram, eram, vram and all.
Game starts at 0x8000000 so the ROM address would be 07AB28
