Super Mocktroid

Super Mocktroid is my attempt at creating an 'Expert Mode' of the original SM. This is more of a half-hack than a full blown redesign, but it should definitely be a refreshing play-through as nearly all the rooms, damages/vulnerabilities and upgrade locations have been changed.

The biggest changes you'll notice is energy pick-ups and ammo pick-ups are mostly removed from the game. That means damage you take tends to stick. Additionally, most pathways have been opened up and upgrades are more for convenience rather than necessity.

Lastly, the only energy tanks you will find in the game are found from killing bosses. More e-tanks means you can progress through the more difficult areas so the objective of Super Mocktroid is: Hunt bosses.

The difficulty is pretty brutal, but does NOT require any tricks the original SM wouldn't have. So no mockballs, short charges, etc. Definitely lots of wall jumping but the focus of difficulty is more on the combat.

I have recently updated the Hack to remove some small slope-related soft locks and some QOL edits.
