This is a revised hackmode patch, it's some of the best code I've written.
Credit to Chicken Knife over at romhacking.net, else this wouldn't have happened.

Started a new post cause this is the core of my hack.
Intended for whatever use you can possibly think of.
All my future posts will be upgrades to this.

All changes will only be in hell mode, leaving the super metroid core how it is.
So you can have the vanilla level hack experience, & you can have the massive gameplay hack experience.

There are four different patches for you, compatible with every hack that isn't control freak.
The changes are very minimal, just the item cancel switch is the difficulty switch.

There's one for if your hack doesn't skip the intro & ceres, finally.
There's one for skipping the intro & ceres, including a new skip intro routine that finally works.
Both of those have two different damage options.

It takes advantage of unused routines, & uses the least amount of space I could get.
Affects samus damage taken through the suit division routine, which includes the one from smileuser96.
Includes a new samus damage dealt routine that doesn't affect enemies.

Between $40-$5D bytes in bank $81, & $0F-$15 bytes in bank $93, plus $10 bytes in $80.
Everything else is an unused routine.

I'd rather have deprived dark souls ng+ as new game, not walk in the park mode, you're going the wrong way.
Once you're out of bounds in hell, you're not welcome.
