What are the chances that this Nintendo 2Ds/3Ds gets its own hacks? I imagine it might be hard since its dual screen. But the possibilites would be endless due to its vast stages/backgrounds. And the HD would always look beautiful.

Well considering it would need its own editor, and not as many people make 3DS hacks as SNES or GBA or NES, i would say that it's not a very high chance. Metroid 2 is barely getting a functional editor, which is still early in development and it has been over 20 years since it came out. I don't imagine MSR getting an editor anytime soon.

I was referring the new one that came out this yr, Nintendo own remake.

we all know you were referring to the new one, he was just pointing out it took 20+ years for the old one to get a modding tool as an example.

It's pretty easy to disassemble the game, so if you know Lua you can make an editor yourself!

Thanks. I guess the game is fairly new to have its editor like it was mentioned and so really low chance of seeing any hacks. Maybe some new experienced coder who falls in love with the hand a we did with super metroid will create hacks.
