Menu Options

Hi, I am wanting to clear all the texts on the menu options screens (except start game )when you first load your emulator as I have  Disabled the ability to select these options for a certain and valid reason.  Did that successfully but when I attempted to clear the texts, I did the 'japenese text ' fine but when I went to clear the special setting mode texts in bank 97(that is only partially at first as I only cleared about half of the letters ) nothing disappeared.  I haven't tried any of the other two unmentioned options but I will try them later. I notice 
That there are 2 spots for this special setting mode in said bank but neither of them work seperately or with editing both.  Address for these were around the B-9300 to b-9400ish mark off top of my head.
   Any help would be greatly appreciated.
