Debug room map screw up

I dun screwed up,
I accidentally changed the map in the debug room, as it is the last room in my hack! but I didn't think that maybe said debug rooms "random" jumble of a map might just be extremely important code.
long story short, my hack doesn't run past the intro anymore, I have backups of the hack that work, but I really don't feel like re-editing all of the graphics, any way you can just import the correct "map" back in place?

I am guessing you need to patch the Ceres/Debug Usage Patch Done By our good friend 'JAM' which you can find on the main site under 'JAM'. I believe Debug can only be used normally if you apply this patch...

Thanks yo, unfortunately you're right, and I now have to patch the last working version and redo my work up until it broke.
but instead of doing that, I'm just going to work on a new hack, as the one that broke was really just me getting used to smile.
once again, thank you for pointing me in the right direction!

scottlrc: open a clean rom, change the debug map where you changed it, then use a hex editor with a file compare feature (I use translhextion) and compare your newly broken rom to yet another clean one.

It'll tell you what dun fucked where. Then just copy that data over from a clean super metroid and your issues should be resolved.
