Botwoon issues

I need help modifying Botwoon.
First, botwoon reacts to plasma very poorly. lots of lag, and his body doesn't protect him. setting Block Plasma only makes his head stop the plasma, which isn't very useful. So, how can I make his other body peices stop plasma from piercing?

Also, I've added other enemies to his room. They work just fine, but I want Botwoon to remove/kill the enemies once he dies. How do I do this?

For removing the enemies, make sure they are only in the state where botwoon is alive. Once he dies, the roomstate changes and therefore the enemies should disappear (I would assume, anyway)

I want them to die as soon as botwoon runs out of HP, so the boss fight is over and the room is cleared.

For clearing out the enemies you'll need to hijack part of his death routines in his AI.   You should just be able to set a bit and then delete the enemy headers stored in RAM.

To have his body block shots you'll need to look in $86, since his body pieces are actually e/r projectiles.  I can't remember though if there is a property bit for having them block plasma beam.
