I was just editing the CRE.gfx last night and I came up with a few problems... Some I am unsure of yet because I have yet to edit them but, one I have edited does not seem to work properly. I was just wondering, is the top half speed boost block [<] not used/read by the TLP/SMILE? I edited the bottom half, saved, put back into SM but, it only replaced the bottom half and not the top. Is this just a minor bug?

Related to this, I noticed the power bomb block is also only half and the power bomb sprite's bottom right is cut off as well. (I assume it's like the doors and flips the sprite but I have yet to test it yet. Just asking if anyone knows.)

I know the tileset I made is not exactly that great but, it hard considering how little colors you get. :\ (15 is just not enough IMO.)

edit: and no, I am not done with it yet. I want to edit the whole tileset. (mostly for fun.)

I am 99% sure the Power Bomb item bottom is just a flip from the one side.

Yeah I know... It's bad... I am average at best with pixel art.

edit: So, I fixed the missiles but, I got a lot to edit. 15 colors sucks though... It's too bad the speed boost block doesn't work though. (My primary question.)

Honestly, I just read through the opening post really quick and the first thing that comes to my mind is the fact that TLP reads any files it opens as having headers. Therefore, it skips the first 200(?) bytes of the file which is why some tiles/graphics won't show up. As I recall, part of the speed boost block is within those bytes. Apply this patch here directly to TLP.exe to rid the program of reading headers and such occurrences should be fixed.

Ooh... So that's why... Thanks for the info/link. I'll give it a try.

edit: Thanks! That seemed to fix it. :)
