It's actually just a bitcheck against the area, nothing to do with the tileset or anything Ceres specific. You can even change which area it is that does this through smile.

I have recently started getting into the hacking community, and I have to say, this hack is pretty hard. But i guess you can say it is a "fun" hard. By that I mean that it is fairer than most hacks I have played. You will  have to be experienced to play this. I did notice an  anomaly as I played the game= You can't open the map in the lab area. While it isn't major it was slightly annoying.
10/10 for sure.

This is a quirk with the original game. The Ceres tileset doesn't allow you to open the map for whatever reason.

Ah okay... Thanks for the explanation.

Hey y'all

I've found this ERIS repro:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/OFFICIAL-RELEASE-Super-Metroid-Eris-EXTREMELY-RARE-Limited-Edition-Boxset-/232915964816

The seller says: "More details can be found on the Metroid Construction website." Couldn't find any. Does Digital Mantra get any of the money?

I think I saw this package few years ago and remembered that the soundtrack CD was included. Completely forgot how amazing it was.

Cheers. Eris is incredible and I am very happy to have made a boxset as memorable as the game, after all these years. That people seem to still like I find humbling. And yeah, the double album is stellar.

Completely forgot that somebody from the community made it. Nice work Advancedpillow, the boxset feels like an official and professional deluxe edition of the game.

Yeah the box set is well thought out. I am willing to buy a copy of the manual if anyone has a copy, although the box set price on ebay that includes the manual is exuberantly high.

How did you make the iconic sound in the space jockey room?
