Project Base item-get fanfare. How?

How do I go about changing the vanilla item-get fanfare and message box to that of the style from Project Base? I've looked through all the resources and hex tweaks, the collab hunt, and came up dry.

There is an asm patch floating around the forums that allows you to change the fanfare sound to a click or similar sound. check the collab hunt, it's probably there.

We discussed this in another thread somewhat recently, and I figured I'd just post the quote here. This should hopefully have what you need (check the links in the below quote).

Would you please add an option to speed up item collection fanfare like Z-Factor or Project Base? Z-Factor's makes a lot sense really only doing full jingle for major pickups. This is one of those things I wish more hacks would do. I can't find a patch to do this myself. (Playing Legacy with PB moves patch as I'm writing this.)

The patch is called itemsounds.asm, but I'm not sure if it's on this site anywhere

Note to future people reading this thread: The second link (the ASM) is all you need.
In fact, the IPS screwed up my expansion PLM graphics, although it may have been due to a conflict with another patch.
