I know nothing of zsnes and how it works. But if you wish to use Snes9x, you can either record a .avi directly, which can be posted onto youtube, or, you can record a .smv and at a later time play the .smv while recording it as a .avi. Best of luck to you.

I tested it out a little today and ran into quite a serious bug.  After receiving bombs and trekking through the brown door he activates, I come across an underwater section.  I run through that area until I come to an elevator.  I take it down but as soon as the screen transitions and shows Samus coming down the elevator, it freezes up permanently.  I'm not sure if you know about this but I'm telling you anyway. :3  Nice job so far though.

Yeah, same problem as Kasel.

Looks good otherwise so far.  My only other comment is that having the Torizo fall so slowly makes him much easier to beat.  Is there a way to make him fall faster?  I'm thinking unpatched Norfair Torizo speed, if possible.

1 and 3 are pretty good, but I'm completely in love with 2, 4 and 5. I'm crazy about green as my favorite color, and the deep green plantstuff palette is enrapturing.

ok, if you want to code the "slope - shinespark - recharge" ability, you need to learn the snes ASM, ore get somebody else on ths board, who can code this.
1st: Isn't fun
2nd: Only possible, if you show progres.

About the pics however: quite enjoyable. The only thing I'm not fond of is the blue palette in the 3rd and 4th pics. Other than that, great job.

ok,played it and didn't find any permastuck situations yet.

i noticed,you can't open the green dor above the ship,i shot several super missiles on it,it won't open.

other then that,it's actually pretty good,and the maps are big.

It opened just fine for me.

My review:
I found a plethora of spots that I was sure would have been permastucks but weren't so that was kinda refreshing to see. The brown Crateria to me doesn't look to good but I'm not really sure why. While you do have a great map and item layout, there are so many level design options that I highly disagree with (getting to Spore Spawn was a great example, I got there without any E-tanks and only had 7 energy left) as they make movement through most of your rooms less fluid. Overall, I would say you need more detail in Crateria but you found a good medium when it comes to Brinstar.

I'm really looking forward to further releases, although, I'll probably wait until this is completed before I download another patch.

Your level design is intriguing. I especially like the deep green color you chose for Brinstar. I'll download the game to my Homebrew Channel and give it a try.
