metroidconstruction.com/resource.php?id=216
Resource: Draygon Destruction Timer
(I can't make it a link because it's my first post)

Click "Download" -> Not Found.
* The download counter also increments when you do this, so I wouldn't trust that 100 people have downloaded this ASM!

Could it be because of the ampersand in the filename?

I have tested these:

https://metroidconstruction.com/hack.php?id=386
https://metroidconstruction.com/hack.php?id=651
https://metroidconstruction.com/hack.php?id=410

Looking at https://metroidconstruction.com/files/hacks/, it seems that only ids 790 (Super Gachatroid) and 791 (da crumblah) can be downloaded.
Hello! The website got compromised by an unknown agent a couple days ago, where a hacker deleted all of the site's data. There were archives of some of the important stuff (The website's code itself, for example), but a lot of things have been lost, including all of the hacks, resources, and forum attachments. Administration is currently working to restore what they can from existing mirrors of these lost files. In the meantime, if you need a specific hack, feel free to join the Metroid Construction Discord Server and request for someone to send you the needed files in one of our corresponding channels

That explains it. Oh gosh, that is just awful! Who would do that? All the screenshots and patch files...

I am currently playing Super Junkoid and I am stunned by it. The next few hacks are also already downloaded, so I have enough great hacks to try.

It's a pity that don't have a full backup available. I wish you the best for reconstructing the data.

Tried to download the Hotlands hack, keeps saying "file not found".

Nevermind, I'm a dumbass. Found the hack on the Hacks section on the main site. The download on the forums was the one not working. Mods, you can delete this and the previous post, thanks!

I am trying to download some of the files that have been posted in the forms and it looks like all the files in forms are missing?  I apologize if this was already answered, I didn't see it in the forms.

For example I checked the Junkoid form and the file now is missing
https://forum.metroidconstruction.com/index.php?action=dlattach;attach=6777

But was there in the internet archive
https://web.archive.org/web/20240205200444/https://forum.metroidconstruction.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=5692.0;attach=6777

I also noticed that the forms color theme changed recently from dark to light, I'm guessing it's a whole new forms server?  Hoping the files will be restored as there are some hard to find treasures in the forms.

The file I am looking for is this one - Justin Bailey - VITALITY
https://forum.metroidconstruction.com/index.php?action=dlattach;attach=6004

Thank you for any help

neen

the site was hacked recently. i think it's pretty safe to assume forum attachments are lost, unless you can find somebody who had downloaded it. hacks like junkoid and vitality are going to be on the main site, anyway.

Thanks for the update, that's a bummer, stupid hackers....

Yeah I know the main hack ips will be accessible, but that's too bad as I've found a lot of nice little treasures in the forms from little random hacks that are nowhere on the main site.

Like VITALITY Redux, etc...

I also tried to post a file attachment and I'm either missing something or it looks like that's not an option anymore? :(  guessing that was probably the method the hackers broke into the site?
