Here's some things I've made that will be in the hack I'm currently working on. Just really excited about this stuff, they're all my first whacks at ASM. (Each of vids are just showcasing the basics of each of these assets; didn't place them in any cool new environments)

Thanks for sharing! I thoroughly enjoyed them all, particularly the miniboss and the metroid hatchlings. Looking forward to seeing whatever hack you release in the future.

Thanks dudes. I changed the projectiles to be a modified cactus needle. Before, they were separate enemies in the set and it was just no bueno. Minor but major change. I'll probably keep polishing it here and there.

I'm really trying to tackle extended tilemaps next so I can make some big boy bosses.

Cool! Though back in Zero Mission all it took was one bomb to launch.

 :lol: It's only one bomb here too, the pulsating effect is just the same as a bomb explosion. I might add a custom sprite object to make it look different, but that works for now.

You could try making the morph ball do the blue suit pulse before launching?

I might look into this, not a bad idea. It does do the normal flashing of a shinespark windup, but I couldn't figure out a way to get it to also flash while Samus' controls are locked. I'll get back to this one soon.

I've been working on this the past few days. It's hives and boids (aka swarms). I keep tweaking/redoing the graphics for the hives themselves, I'm still not happy and will definitely redo them again, but functionally I'm pretty satisfied. Gonna polish and optimize some more yet.
