[April Fools]
Super Metroid 2
Return to Zebes

Since I started work on LAMP, my Metroid 2 Editor, last year, I also secretly worked on this project! :^_^:
A DEMAKE of the SNES game Super Metroid in the Metroid 2 Engine!

This Project will feature a bunch of custom areas that you may know from Super Metroid already
Furthermore, this Hack has tons of custom ASM applied to it, like custom enemies and custom bosses (Maybe even some big boys you know from the original :whoa:)
Work has been going fast on the project due to my Editor growing in features every day. Though I don't want to spoil too much, so for now I will show you this one screenshot from Crateria!

I hope all of you are as excited as I am to finally see this project!!!

Game Preview:
You might be wondering why some doors are missing :pwuh:
This is due to Metroid 2 not having Map Stations. Refill and Save stations are also incorperated into the level design now, rather than having their own dedicated rooms
since I think that it gives off a better Metroid 2 feel!
I really like the subtitle! Keep up the great work, Connor with an "E"!

game boy is too slow for ketchup to work

False.

Also we got Crocomire working on window layer, similar to how Queen works.

Helping with ASM since it doesn't make sense to spend too much time on gfx before gameplay can function

I think what Super Metroid really needs to give it some of that special M2 sauce is Aeion abilities. I think that the addition of Aeioun abilities like the Bean Burst or the Flash Drift or the Scam Cloak would really improve Super Metroid. Hit me up on the Discorb if you want some help adding these Aeiouyn abilities. (Hopefully they won't take aeons to finish.)

map patch v1 is on forum already. Requires manual hex edit to map tables but is compatible with LAMP.

I accidentially deleted my Data Folder that LAMP created. Looks pretty bad for the project, all progress is pretty much lost now
