Discord has the best features (profile banner images, animated emoji, high quality voice chat, and server banner) under a paywall (nitro, server boosts) while https://revolt.chat has these features without a paywall. Custom emoji are still in beta...
We put an end to Metconst Premium/Gold/Platinum/Silver/Palladium/Rhodium/Iridium/Ruthenium/Osmium/Roentgenium nonsense.

i have never hard of this service before so while it sounds good I am suspicious.

There's been a decent amount of discussion revolving around possibly hosting a metroid construction matrix server with a discord bridge. I personally would prefer a matrix server over this because it means that metconst gets to host it ourselves, and everyone has freedom in whatever matrix client they want to use.
